FAQ

How does token-based billing work?

Every analysis bills effective tokens, which weight each token type by its real LLM cost: non-cached input × 1, cache reads × 0.1, output × 5. Each plan includes a monthly bucket; on paid plans, anything over the bucket bills overage at the per-1k rate shown on the card. Buckets reset when the subscription period rolls over.

How many analyses does my bucket cover?

Depends on the repo. A quick analysis (under ~10 files) averages 22k effective tokens; a full repo scan on a mid-size codebase averages 90k. As a rule of thumb, Beta’s 500k bucket covers ~5–20 full scans/month, Starter’s 2M covers ~20–90, and so on.

What happens when I hit the cap?

Paid plans keep working — overage is metered to Stripe at the per-1k rate listed on each tier and added to the next invoice. Free plan blocks new analyses until the bucket resets or you upgrade. The dashboard surfaces a warning at 80% so there’s no surprise.

Do you bill in Brazilian Reais (BRL)?

Yes. We detect your locale at signup and route Brazilian customers through Stripe’s native BRL checkout (R$ 49/mo on Beta, equivalent rates on other tiers). Everyone else is billed in USD. The currency is locked in when the subscription is created.

How does the Beta waitlist work?

Beta is limited to a small cohort while we ramp infrastructure. When all slots are taken, new signups still go through — your account is created with a "waitlist" status and you receive an email the moment a slot opens. No card is charged until you’re activated.

Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel later?

Admins can change plans from the Billing page in the dashboard — Stripe handles proration so you only pay the difference. Cancellation is one click through the Stripe customer portal; you keep access through the end of the billing period.
